Jornada típica

8:00 - 9:00: Initial meeting with veterinarians to plan the day.
9:00 - 11:00: Assistance in routine check-ups and consultations.
11:00 - 12:00: Monitoring of hospitalized patients.
12:00 - 13:00: Lunch and break.
13:00 - 15:00: Client advisory and follow-up on special cases.

The project takes place in San Ramón, Alajuela, a vibrant location committed to animal health and welfare. Our veterinary clinic, El Tremedal, provides comprehensive care for pets and farm animals, ensuring responsible resource management. By participating, you will directly support diagnoses and treatments, enhance your skills through patient care, and advise clients on optimal animal care practices. This program supports SDGs 15, 12, and 3, promoting ecosystem well-being and human-animal relationships.

In your free time from Alajuela, you can immerse yourself in Costa Rica's natural beauty. Alajuela is the perfect starting point to explore the country: within a few hours by bus, you can reach the majestic Poás Volcano National Park and admire its impressive crater. For beach lovers, a visit to Manuel Antonio National Park offers idyllic beaches and diverse tropical wildlife. You can also explore Monteverde and its famous Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, home to spectacular biodiversity.
